I don’t know about you guys but I get all sorts of crazy cravings while I’m fasting and especially with our favourite food spots closed given the current situation, I try to make the most of those cravings by trying to recreate those flavours at home! I kinda started experimenting with one of my favourite traditional desserts.... Peshawri ice cream! Peshawri ice cream is a traditional Pakistani ice cream made with full fat milk and lots of cream or as we like to call it malai! Ooh and it doesn’t contain any eggs. The distinctive feature of Peshawri Icecream is the layer of cream that starts to form at the top of your mouth as you eat it! This ice cream is super easy to make and doesn’t require an ice cream machine, just a food processor. However, if you do have an ice cream machine I suggest using it, as although the food processor hack works great, you still get some ice crystals! Recipe is in my highlights!
